NH3 temperature-programmed desorption (NH3-TPD) is frequently used for probing the nature of the active sites in CuSSZ-13 zeolite for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx. Herein, we propose an interpretation of NH3-TPD results, which takes into account the temperature-induced dynamics of NH3 interaction with the active centers. It is based on a comprehensive DFT/GGA+D and first-principles thermodynamic (FPT) modeling of NH3 adsorption on single Cu2+, Cu+, [CuOH]+ centers, dimeric [Cu-O-Cu]2+, [Cu-O22−-Cu]2 species, segregated CuO nanocrystals and Brønsted acid sites (BAS). Theoretical TPD profiles are compared with the experimental data measured for samples of various Si/Al ratios and distribution of Al within the zeolite framework. Copper reduction, its relocation, followed by the intrazeolite olation/oxolation processes, which are concomitant with NH3 desorption, were revealed by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and IR. DFT/FPT results show that the peaks in the desorption profiles cannot be assigned univocally to the particular Cu and BAS centers, since the observed low-, medium- and high-temperature desorption bands have contributions coming from several species, which dynamically change their speciation and redox states during NH3-TPD experiment. Thus, a rigorous interpretation of the NH3-TPD profiles of CuSSZ-13 in terms of the strength and concentration of the active centers of a particular type is problematic. Nonetheless, useful connections for molecular interpretation of TPD profiles can be established between the individual component peaks and the corresponding ensembles of the adsorption centers. 相似文献

Butyl methacrylate-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (BMA-HEMA) copolymers were synthesized by the method of suspension polymerization. The copolymer fibers were prepared for absorbing liquid organic matter by gelation-spinning in a twin screw extrusion machine. The swelling parameters and mechanical properties were investigated, and the morphology was observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results show that the degree of equilibrium swelling for the fibers increased with increasing the mass fraction of HEMA in the monomer feed when toluene, trichloroethylene, or chloroform were selected as organic absorbates. All of the interaction parameters, χ 1, for the fibers and organic liquids were less than 0.5, with the order of the interaction parameters χ 1 being as follows: toluene > trichloroethylene > chloroform. Average molecular weights between crosslink points, M c, and effective crosslink density, V e, were dependent on the selected organic liquids; for the different organic liquids, M c and V e were different. The breaking tenacity, initial modulus, and yield stress of the fibers increased with an increase in the mass fraction of HEMA. However, elongation at break and elongation at yield decreased with increasing the mass fraction of HEMA; in particular, for the mass fraction of HEMA equal to 15 wt%, the fiber did not yield, and underwent a brittle fracture. 相似文献

A novel macro/nano blended nonwoven with excellent physical properties was prepared by electrospinning polyurethane (PU) nanofibers onto the surface of ramie webs under different weight ratios of N,N‐dimethylacetamide (DMAc)/acetone cosolvents. The ratio of cosolvents has a significant influence on the morphology, tensile properties, resilience, and thermal properties of the resultant samples. Bead‐free and fine interconnected nanofibers were obtained with an increase of acetone content up to 60 wt%. The total physical properties of the blended nonwovens were optimal for a DMAc/acetone ratio of 40/60, in which the tensile load at break, extension at break and Young's modulus were 441, 54, and 256% higher than that of pure ramie web, respectively. The resilience of the blended nonwovens was ~20% higher than that of nonblended ramie web. The significant improvement of physical properties may be due to the good connection between PU nanofiber membranes and ramie webs and the molecular chain structure differences, interconnected structural differences, and high extensibility of PU nanofibers, according to the results of crystallization by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and morphological observation by scanning electronic microscopy (SEM). © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Injection-molded β-isotactic polypropylene (β-iPP) was prepared with a commercial β-nucleating agent (NT-A). The effect of NT-A on the crystallization, mechanical properties, and heat resistance of β-iPP was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD), polarized light microscopy (PLM), and mechanical and heat deflection tests. DSC and WAXD analysis showed that the content of β-crystals in the nucleated iPP was higher than that of pure iPP, and the content of β-crystals of the core was higher than that of the skin. PLM observations showed that injection-molded iPP had an obvious skin-core structure. NT-A induced abundant β-crystals and resulted in small spherulites which improved the Izod notched impact strength. When the content of NT-A was 0.075wt%, the Izod notched impact strength reached a maximum, 2.6 times more than that of pure iPP. The heat distortion temperature was also improved by NT-A. 相似文献

Coiled carbon nanostructure (CNS) is prepared by a catalytic chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process on copper/chromium films deposited by radio frequency (RF) sputtering. Uniform CNS with coiled structure is fabricated by changing the size of the catalyst particles. The effects of Cu catalyst size and RF sputtering power, on the growth of the coiled CNS are discussed, and the results importantly conclude that Cu-catalyzed CVD offers a preferable control of coiled CNS to optimize the field emission property for application. 相似文献

Two new bivanadyl capped Keggin polyoxometalate-based inorganic–organic hybrid compounds, [M(2,2′-bipy)2(H2O)]2[AsMo12O40(VO)2]}(M = Co 1, Zn 2; bipy = bipyridine), have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions by directly using Li3[AsMo12O40] · nH2O as starting materials. Single crystal X-ray analysis revealed that compounds 1 and 2 were isostructural, consisting of a neutral bivanadyl capped Keggin POMs bigrafted by [M(2,2′-bipy)2(H2O)]2+ fragments. Other characterizations by elemental analysis, IR spectra, XPS spectra, power X-ray diffraction and TG analysis
were also described in the paper. The study of the electrochemical properties of compounds 1 and 2 exhibit similar redox behaviors, undergoing three two-electron reversible redox processes, and the electrocatalysis of 1 has also been studied in detail.

The peculiarity of the catalytic effect of complex mercury ions (in the concentration of 10?5 to 10?4 M) on the gold electrodeposition from cyanide solutions are studied. It is shown that, all other conditions being the same, the catalytic activity of mercury ions is much lower than that of earlier studied thallium and lead ions. Another peculiarity of catalytic effect of mercury ions is the necessity of prolonged (for tens minutes) contact of gold with the mercury-containing solution. Possible explanation for the obtained regularities is proposed. 相似文献
